Family-friendly National Night Out event planned for North Houston District on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Wussow Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

HOUSTON, September 21, 2023 – The North Houston District will bring together area residents, local law enforcement, businesses, military members, and community sponsors for its 2023 National Night Out on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at Thomas R. Wussow Park. Several activities are planned over the course of the three-hour event, including a “friendly” tug of war competition featuring the Houston Police Department versus Harris County Sheriff’s Office, live performances, a dance competition between law enforcement agencies, a K9 Officer demonstration, and giveaways including tablets, gift cards, gaming systems and TVs near the end of the event.
