The HFD Station 74 Upgrades project will modernize the longstanding fire station located at 460 Aldine Bender. Managed by the City of Houston General Services Department, the project will address aging infrastructure and operational needs. Originally built in 1983, the station will receive a new HVAC system, upgraded kitchen, and renovated firefighter quarters, including improved accommodations, enhancing working conditions for first responders. The construction of the upgrades is expected to take a total of 8 months.
