The North Houston District’s outreach programs bring people together through education, communication, and collaboration, providing the tools and resources needed to help keep the community safe and connected.

Apartment Initiatives

North Houston District is home to 76 apartment communities, with more than 117,000 residents living within a 3-mile radius. The District partners with property owners, managers, and security teams to share resources, strengthen communication, and support safer apartment communities.

Business Outreach

The District works with local businesses to enhance safety through proactive outreach and education. Business Safety Forums and customized workplace presentations address current crime trends, prevention strategies, and available public safety resources.

Community Engagement

Community engagement is an important part of the District’s public safety efforts. Through initiatives such as National Night Out and community safety visits, residents, businesses, and law enforcement come together to build relationships, share safety information, connect with resources, and strengthen partnerships that help keep the community safe.
