Summer Quadrants Public Safety

Public Safety Outreach Gets Area Businesses Involved

For this year’s March on Crime outreach campaign, local law enforcement focused on connecting with local business owners and their employees to build relationships, providing resources, and expanding collaborative crime prevention partnerships within the District.

Summer Quadrants Tree Trimming Project

Tree Trimming Efforts Shape Up Major Thoroughfares

The District’s Field Services team works hard to maintain the many trees in the area, keeping it Clean & Green regardless of the season. Recently, they trimmed 833 trees along I-45 from NHD’s southern boundary at West Road to its northern boundary near Rankin Road. This project alone surpassed the total number of trees trimmed in FY2025—707 trees—and brought the total number of trees trimmed in the first half of FY2026 to a stunning 1,154 trees trimmed!
